Who we are

Lenka, our mayoral candidate, a lawyer with extensive experience in the court and prosecution system, who has served on the municipal control committee since the last municipal elections. She has been through a lot of documents on the functioning of the municipality as an institution that has clearly defined rules and duties by law. A person with great empathy and the ability to understand many different opinions and to connect the disconnected.

Pepa, who currently holds the position of deputy mayor of the municipality and has been managing the municipality for several months. The man responsible for the smooth completion of the 2nd phase of the kindergarten U lesa, the design and implementation of two new classrooms in the primary school, the preparation of the project for the new pavilion of the primary school. He was also involved in the acquisition of a new plot of land for civic amenities, the community centre project in Kozolupy. He is the person behind the promotion and gradual implementation of the pedestrian path from Kuchař to Vysoký Újezd, the search for and application of energy savings in municipal buildings, the consistent passporting of lighting and the preparation of a project to save public lighting, the one who in the snow calamity in December was the first to stand together with the technical services in the village square with a rake in his hand and on Christmas Eve instead of wrapping carp cleaned up the mess at the containers.

Andrea, without whose incredible enthusiasm many cultural events would not take place, the immortal aunt in a Halloween costume, as well as the devil at St. Nicholas and the usher at St. Martin's. Simply the chair of the cultural committee, which has been responsible for more than a dozen smoothly organised events in the last year.

Martin, who after the first turbulent changes in the council took over the difficult position of chairman of the finance committee, and together with Tomáš Kunec and the outgoing Martina Sionková prepared an ambitious but responsible budget for the municipality not only for the next year, but also for the medium-term outlook for the next 3 years. A professional who is responsible for the preparation and implementation of billion dollar grant programs as part of his job and continues to offer his expertise to our municipalities.

David, whose words you may be unknowingly reading on the municipal Facebook page Obec Vysoký Újezd, the municipal website and the MojeObec app. A (in)patient commenter on the social media channels used in our municipalities, a new settler in the old part of the municipality who listens to the speech of both tribes. Together with Pepa, also the initiator of the event “Garden at the Kindergarten U lesa“, which also (and mainly!) thanks to the help of many volunteers led to the creation of a beautiful space for our children.

Jarda, who has spent the last year on the building committee, which is currently an important institution in our municipalities to maintain a reasonable and conceptual planning. With massive construction far from over, there is a greater need than ever to oversee ongoing construction from an urban planning and land development perspective. Together with his wife Martina, a member of the cultural committee, he was involved in the organisation and running of most of the cultural events that fell under the patronage of the municipality. You could see him, for example, in the role of Laufre at the Mardi Gras or as St. Nicholas in the Sokol Hall.

Lucka, whom many of you know as a kindergarten teacher, and also for several years ran the children's club Újezďáček and exercise with children Klubíčko. A founding member and original chair of the Communications Committee, she and David set new channels of communication in the village, as well as the tone and openness of the Authority's communications to citizens. Co-organiser of many events held within the High Ujezd Primary School and Kindergarten and indispensable help to the Cultural Committee.

Michal, a member of the Settlement committee Kuchař, who patiently listened to the demands and problems that plague our smallest part of the village and presented them to the village council for solution. Michal decided to join our candidate list mainly to ensure that Kuchař will have a solid representation on the candidate list of the association, in which all its members will adequately address the issues of all parts of our village.

Andrea, a member of the Settlement Committee Kozolupy and also a member of the Communications Committee, who helped inform people about cultural and social events organized in Kozolupy. Andrea also decided to join ŽIJME SPOLEČNĚ after the break-up of her original candidate because of the clear representation of Kozolupy in the decision-making process of our whole association and eventually the newly formed council.
